Changes

The castle is owned and managed by the organisation Historic Scotland and it is necessary for non-members to pay a fee for entry. It is not possible (but very difficult) to take the zone from outside the castle wallswhen the castle is closed. As of March 2021 the castle has been closed for a year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
