During the banquet Drassen gave a short speech about Turf and introduced the new hashtag ”plurfa”, a way to combine turf with picking up trash (”plocka skräp” in Swedish) in the zones. So next time you see a zone with trash in it, pick it up, take a photo with the in-app camera, post it on social media with #plurfa and we turfers will clean up the world one zone at the time!

We parked our car by the glass hut Pukaberg, took down our bikes and headed off. Ploff! A local turfer showed up and blocked the first unique zone for us. So we shouted out ”Assist” in the chat and eventually met up with him; Podde, a junior high student. He had been a turfer for three months and really enjoyed playing the game. He became our guide, or we his...since we did end up taking LångaKärret together and it was his first take.

Maybe hook up with a fellow turfer (newbie, oldie, traveller or local you have never met) this summer and collect those Assist together. Or organize a picnic with fellow turfers in a zone and send the picture to insider@turfgame.com :)
