SörmlandsTopp is a turfzone in the municipality of Nyköping in the region of Södermanland in Sweden and it is counted as a summit zone.
Placement
This zone is placed on the top of Vensbrinksberget mountain, west of Nyköping town center and north of Norrköping.
Vensbrinksberget
Vensbrinksberget (sometimes called Skogsbyås) is Sörmland's highest point, which is 123 meters above sea level. Here you will find an observation tower that is 12 meters high and from the tower you have an extensive view of Kolmården's forests. You can find the place on the "skogsbyslingan" trail stage 30 on the "Sörmlandsleden" trail.
Directions
Turn off the E4 at Stavsjö and follow the signs for Skogsby. After about 9km you will see the "Sörmlandsleden" trail signs and a parking space on the right. Be careful not to stop too early, there are more signs for the "Sörmlandsleden" trail along the way. When the top sign says "Observation tower" you've come to the right place.
Park and then follow the path for a few hundred meters until you see a sign for the lookout tower up on the right. From there it is another few hundred meters through moss-covered primeval forest up to the top.
