Skärgårdens Vänner in Houtskär r.f. is a youth association that was formed in 1916. The association's club house, which was inaugurated in 1919, is called Ljungheda and is located in Björkö. The association arranges activities for young and old to increase well-being in the area. The association announces its activities, among other things. via the paper "Houtskär Nytt", the local bulletin boards and on the facebook page "Houtskär Info". Ljungheda can also be rented for private events.
