Gyeongsangnam (South Gyeongsang) is one of 15 regions in South Korea. It is a province in the southeastern part of the country and has 3.3 million inhabitants.
Changwon is the capital and largest city with about 1 million inhabitants.
Adjacent regions are Jeollanam and Jeollabuk to the west, Gyeongsangbuk, Daegu and Ulsan in the north and Busan in the south.
