Block time is the time from when a zone is taken or revisited by a player until another player can take the zone. New turfers block a zone for ten minutes. At most, a zone can be blocked for twentyfive minutes (of a turfer with rank 60).
The higher the rank, the longer the block time. For your block time, see table here.
Revisit[edit]
For revisits, the block time is static at 5 minutes, regardless of rank.
Event and Bonanza[edit]
Special rules for block time apply when participating in Event and Bonanza.
History[edit]
- 2010-07-10 At the game's launch, the block time was the rank multiplied by two through rank 30. That is, a maximum of 60 minutes. The minimum block time was 5 minutes.
- 2012-04-01 The block time was changed so the maximum block time was 30 minutes. The minimum block time was 5 minutes (for Revisit).
