Water zones are turfzones that are placed on a non-shallow body of water at least 15 meters from shore, and outside any busy or dangerous areas.
Most water zones are found in Sweden (300) followed by United Kingdom (33) and Finland (32). The most taken Water Zone is Nydalabadet, located in the municipality of Umeå in the region of Västerbotten in Sweden.
