Lady Hill and The Duke of Gordon Monument[edit]
Lady Hill is a small hill in the centre of Elgin offering views of the city and surrounding area. It was also the location of a castle although not much remains of it. The monument is in honour of the Duke of Gordon and legend says that at midnight the statue of the Duke comes down from his column and walks around the hill. He is obviously a keen Turfer.
