A players '''takeover time''' is the number of seconds he/she has to stand inside a zone in order to take it.
For new turfers the takeover time is 45 seconds which is the maximum. The takeover time is reduced by achieving new [[ranks]] and can be further reduced by 5 seconds when being [[regionlord]] and by the [[GPS-bonus]].
