A players '''takeover time''' is the number of seconds he/she has to stand inside a zone in order to take it.
For new turfers the takeover time is 45 seconds which is the maximum. The takeover time is can be reduced down to 25 seconds by achieving new [[ranks]] and can be further reduced by 5 seconds both when being [[regionlord]] and by when the [[GPS-bonus]]is active.
