Zeeland is one of twelve regions in the Netherlands. The region includes the province of the same name and has about 380 000 inhabitants.
The largest city is the provincial capital Middelburg. Other major cities are Vlissingen, Goes and Terneuzen.
Adjacent regions are Zuid-Holland in the northeast, Noord-Brabant in the east and Belgium in the south.
