Gothenburg Botanical Garden is located in the Änggården district of Gothenburg - on the former estate "Stora Änggården". The Botanical Garden was inaugurated on 8 July 1923 in connection with the Gothenburg exhibition, but the garden was not considered complete until 1948. The gardeb has as its symbol the Anemonoides nemorosa flower. The garden has two stars in the Michelin Guide.
