TurkuAir is a turfzone in the municipality of Turku in the region of Lounais-Suomi (Southwestern Finland) in Finland. The zone is located in the province of Varsinais-Suomi.
Placement[edit]
The zone is placed at the Turku Airport about eight kilometers north of the city center.
TurkuAir[edit]
Turku Airport (IATA: TKU, ICAO: EFTU) has at the Nordic level, the highest number of direct flights to Asia. As the oldest civilian airport in Finland, it continues Turku's illustrious past as an aviation city. Today, Turku is one of the busiest airports the country, both in passenger traffic and cargo.
