Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is a region in northeastern Germany. The region encompasses the bundesland with the same name and has two million inhabitants. Bordering regions are Brandenburg in the south, Niedersachsen in the southwest, Schleswig-Holstein in the west and Poland in the east.

There are 85 turfzones in the region, where two are counted as world heritage site, one as a train station zone, three as national park zones, two as monument zones, five as holy zones, one as a summit zone, seven as bridge zones, two as castle zones and one as a ruin zone. The most taken zone is AlterSchwede that is located outside the restaurant Alter Schwede by the old market square in the town Wismar.
