Syddanmark (Southern Denmark) is one of five regions in Denmark. The region includes the southern part of Jutland as well as the island Funen (Danish: Fyn) and surrounding islands such as Ærø and Langeland and has about 1.2 million inhabitants.

Adjacent regions are Midtjylland (Central Denmark) in the north and Schleswig-Holstein in Germany in the south. In addition, the region has a fixed link with the nearby region Hovedstaden (Capital of Denmark) on the other side Great Belt in the east.

The region includes Denmark's third and fifth largest cities: Odense and Esbjerg.
