Moray is a municipality in the region of Scotland in United Kingdom. The municipality has about 95,000 inhabitants and is located in the northeastern part of the region.
Moray (Scots: Moray; Scottish Gaelic: Moreibh) is one of Scotland's 32 council areas. It was historically part of the county of Banffshire and formerly part of the Grampian region.

Location
Moray is located in the north east of Scotland with coastline on the Moray Firth.
The municipality borders Aberdeenshire to the east and south, and Highland to the west.
Main towns
Elgin is the main town of Moray and accounted for around 25% of the population of Moray in the 2011 census.
Other towns include Forres, Keith, Lossiemouth, Fochabers, Aberlour and Dufftown.

The Speyside Way is a long distance walking / cycling route which is 137km long and runs from Newtonmore in Highland to Buckie in Moray. The following zones are on the Speyside Way.
