The zone is placed at the beach in Långviken, in the outer part of the bay of "Långviksudden", south of the town center of Kalmar.
The beach of Långviken[edit]
At Långviken there is a sand beach as well as a jetty with a jumping tower. The area is close to nature with several different lively and more quiet places to relax.
Långviken is located about 1.5 kilometers south of the city center in the direction of Stensö. At the far end of Långviken there are slightly larger jettys and a jumping tower (10, 7.5 and 5 meters). There is access to shower at the beach, WC at the end of the sauna. The toilet / shower that is inside the sauna is association-run and only open when the association has its activities running.
Adjacent to the beach there are four beach volleyball courts managed by Kalmar Volleyball Club. [1]
