Lapland are two different provinces in the northernmost parts of the two countries Sweden and Finland which has once historically been one and the same province.

Lapland (in swedish Lappland) is a province in northernmost Sweden that has about 92 000 inhabitants. In Turf most of the province is included in the regions of Norrbotten and Västerbotten. A smaller part of this province is included in the region of Jämtland. The province is Sweden's largest in area and covers approximately a quarter of the entire country's surface.

The province consists mainly of the twelve municipalities Arjeplog, Arvidsjaur, Dorotea, Gällivare, Jokkmokk, Kiruna, Lycksele, Malå, Sorsele, Storuman, Vilhelmina and Åsele. A smaller part of Strömsunds is also part of the province.
