Finland (Finnish: Suomi; Swedish: Finland), officially the Republic of Finland (Finnish: Suomen tasavalta, Swedish: Republiken Finland) is a country in northern Europe with about 5.5 million inhabitants. It is one of the official countries where Turf is available since 2012-03-20 (First on Åland; mainland Finland started to receive zones in July/August 2012).
The capital Helsinki is the country's largest urban area with about 1.2 million inhabitants. Other major urban areas are Tampere, Turku and Oulu.
Adjacent countries are Sweden in the west, Norway in the north, Russia in the east and (via maritime border) Estonia in the south.

Geographical subdivision
Finland is divided into seven regions, corresponding to the Regional State Administrative Agency which replaced the county administrative boards when the country's previous division into counties was abolished at the turn of 2009/2010. The regions are in turn divided into 312 municipalities. There are a total of 4 485 turf zones:
