Nordnorge (Northern Norway) is one of five regions in Norway, the biggest city is Tromsø.
The region is made up by these two counties (fylker): Nordland and Troms og Finnmark.
The islands of Svalbard is also part of this region, even though they are not marked red on the map.
Adjacent regions are Trøndelag in the southwest, Västerbotten and Norrbotten in Sweden and Lappi (Lapland) in Finland in the south and Russia in the southeast.
