Västmanland is one of 21 regions in Sweden. The region comprises the eastern part of the province of the same name as well as smaller parts of the provinces Närke, Uppland, Södermanland and Dalarna.
Adjacent regions are Dalarna in the north, Gävleborg in the northeast, Uppsala in the east, Södermanland in the southeast and Örebro in the west.
